Ammonium Metatungstate Nanocomposites

Ammonium metatungstate is compounded with nanomaterials such as graphene, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) or metal organic frameworks (MOFs) to prepare high-strength, high-conductivity nanocomposites, which are widely used in flexible electronics, wearable devices and energy storage devices.
WO₃/graphene nanocomposites can be prepared by co-precipitation or hydrothermal compounding of AMT solution with graphene oxide, and their conductivity is 2-3 times higher than that of pure WO₃, and their mechanical strength is increased by 30%. These materials perform well in flexible electrodes and sensors.
Advantages:
High performance: The composite material has both the chemical activity of WO₃ and the conductivity/mechanical strength of carbon-based materials.
Diversity: AMT’s morphology control capability supports customized composite material design.
